A new decade begins..

Today was a pretty good day to start the year. I brought in the New Year with 2 sleeping babies :] I babysat a little boy for one of the mommies in the group so she and her husband could have a night out on the town for New Year's Eve. After finally getting to bed around 3am, Butterbean and I went to pick up her daddy as soon as he was off work this morning at 5:30AM..yes 5:30. She was wide awake when we finally got home but she proved her love to me by taking a 5 HOUR nap..oh how I love her. I definitely needed it!!

Our goals as a family this year are..
-to catch up on bills..that just seem to NEVER go away..ugh
-save money to move into a nicer place
-love eachother the best we can
-and to make lots of memories.

My personal goals for this year are..
 -to go back to school
-teach butterbean as much as her little mind will hold
-become a vegetarian..this has to be the most challenging one :P

 Happy New Year <3

  1. I think I have a lot of those same goals, but I need to lose at least 30 pounds on top of the ones you already listed, ha ;) You are a great mother & wife! I don't know if I could become a full-on vegetarian. I already don't eat beef, seafood & pork. I only eat chicken & turkey. I'm a weird-O. I'm looking forward to hanging out with you & little Sophia a bunch in 2011!!!

  2. Thank you Bonnie, you are so amazing :]
The vegetarian thing..ugh I've been wanting to do it for so long but there are so many people around me that don't support it so it's extremely hard..I am starting by cutting out all red meat and pork and then just going from there.
I can't wait to see where 2011 brings all of us :] <3

  3. if you want to save money and learn more, read about dave ramsey. i started reading and practicing his money ways when i became a stay at home mom. we have been able to pay off a lot of debt! i am going to write a blog entry about it. i started a draft but will post it next week.

if you have any questions about money and saving, just ask me. i am pretty good about it. my mom has taught me a lot!
