Goodbye best friends.

Our best friends Leslie and Jasmine moved to Washington last week. We are sooo very sad that they had to leave. We were lucky enough to see them before they left! The girls had such a great time together. We love them oh so much and wish them the very best!! Hopefully, we'll see them soon!

 

 We had a couple lay days since I haven't been feeling tip top.

  

We also met up with our other friends, Molly and Violet at the Bellagio Conservatory..

 and to the Springs Preserve!

We've had a great couple weeks of outings! :) These next few weekends are super busy too! Not only do we have to get ready for our 2 weeks vacation but we have birthday parties, baby showers, Easter parties, garage sales, all kinds of stuff!!

In better more exciting news..I have reached 12 weeks, pregnant! :)

 I've only gained 2 lbs so far, thank goodness! I go to the doctor next week and am SO excited to see baby#2! :)

Week in our lives!

So this week had been interesting to say the least!

Sunday I took Butterbean to the movies to see "Gnomeo and Juliet"

 She did ok for the first hour or so..then it got crazy! She was just really really tired..so we left before the movie ended. She was so tired that she fell asleep before we even left the parking garage!

Then Monday, we went to the Roos'N"More zoo with our friends Leslie and Jasmine! So much fun!

 If  you haven't been there you should definitely go! You can touch or hold every single animal there! EVERY animal! There are camels, otters, lemurs, kangaroos, turtles, monkeys (you can see one on my head top left), all kinds of stuff. From Vegas, it takes about 45 minutes to get there. So worth it!! Exit 90 :)

Tuesday Butterbean had tumbling. Then we came home and had a picnic on the living room floor.
Wednesday Butterbean had a doctors appointment. And then we went to a playdate at the park to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. She fell asleep holding a Trix Rice crispy ball :P

 Thursday we went to another playdate, at one of the mommy's houses. Then we went to STEAK'N'SHAKE!!! Oh I was soooo excited!! They're back home..and they are delicious!!

 And today we didn't really do anything..we went to lunch with daddy and then to Borders because they were going out of business. I finally cleaned for the first time in 2 weeks...being sick sucked.

We also found out some INSANE news this week but I am going to keep it to myself for a little while.
Well I'm off to bed. super tired. byee

Tantrum Thursday

Today was just that..filled with tantrums. I'm thinking this grumpiness is from her 2 teeth coming in. But because there was sooo much anger inside of her I decided we needed a day of fun and running around to get it alll out! So we went to Child's Play with our friends Leslie and Jasmine. Butterbean had a lot of fun! So did Jasmine! I liked it there but am not willing to pay $12 every time..for 2 hours.

This wall was soo cool! Your shadow made things move on it..loved it! I want one for our living room!! hahah

Then on the way home, the little booger finally fell asleep! She was sooo tired that she didn't even wake up when I took her out of the carseat, opened the front door, or layed her down! :)

Soo peaceful! :)

 Later after she woke up we played for a little bit and had lunch. She still seemed tired so I layed her down for another nap. I closed the door walked down the hall to my door and then heard knocking..I had no idea where it was coming from. I walk back to her room and it was her. She had climbed out of her crib and got to the door in the 5 seconds it took me to get to my room.

So I had her show me how she did it..sooo easy for her. Like she had been doing it her whole life. Not good!

Now we need to figure out what to do about this..she refuses to stay in her crib. hmm..
Anyways! Night!

aMazing Monday :)

Today the babe and I went to  Wal-Mart to get groceries for the week and ended up getting..dun dun dunnnn..

She was watching Toy Story 3 (and I was in her way) so she was pretty mad lol

 Then we went to our friends Leslie and Lo's house again today to hang out and watch Toy Story :) those girls really love each other. SO cute!

Tonight we had my delicious homemade pizza! yum! Just what I needed before a hard work out! haha.

Nothing else really special happened..so I'll make this short and quick! :)

Superbowl Sunday!

Today was Superbowl Sunday..as we all know..and I can honestly say I have no idea who won, what commercials were on, or even who sang at half time. Butterbean and I went to our friend Leslie's house for the "big game". We ended up just hanging out and talking..my favorite thing to do! It was a fantastic day! And I cannot wait to see the pictures that Leslie took! SOO many cute ones! They will be posted as soon as she adds them to FB!

And on another FANTASTIC note...I got a new phone!!!!!!! YAY!! I am truly verrrrrry happy! I have been without a phone for over a week I believe. It has sucked! But now I have joined the real world once again!! Steven bought me the HTC Incredible :) soo cool! It was between that and the new Verizon Iphone. The reason I chose the incredible is cause 1] the iphone isnt out yet 2] it costs about $300 more than the htc 3] it will be the first one for verizon which means TONS of bugs! no thank you! I like my phone!
Anyways.. i NEED to go to bed! Have a long day of toy story with the girls tomorrow :) yay! Night!

Springs Preserve!

Yesterday, we went with some of the mommies from our group to the Springs Preserve! It was a lot of fun! Butterbean enjoyed herself I think..

 It was a fun day! We had a great time and will definitely be going back soon! Then last night I got to go out with my cousin Kelsey! We try and go out at least once a month to dinner and a movie. Last night we changed up our restaurant and went to mexican! Cabo! yumm!! And then we went and saw "No Strings Attached"! Such a cute movie! We had a great time. We always do! I love her!

Today we went to the slidertruck, Slidin' Thru . They are amazing! I love the crew and the food! I always get the Captain's Order and the Yaya. Butterbean always gets the sweet potato fries and they know that! :) Sadly today the fryer was broken so no sweets. But the sliders were fantastic. The new crew isn't the best but the originals are still around and they are the ones I like the most! We also met up with Kelly and Deegan there! I love Deegan, he is soo cute! Such a happy little guy! Sophia likes him too. She has always had a little thing for him I think. :P

For dinner we ordered Pizza Hut..it's just one of those days haha
anyways. the babe went down to sleep pretty well tonight. She nursed..but not for long. I'm hoping she is starting to get over this sleep association thing. I love nursing but I really wish she could go to sleep on her own. Oh well..we will keep trying!

Today was a fantastic day :]
Butterbean and I went to a new toddler "hot spot" KinderlandCafe! So much fun! She loved it! We went with a few moms and babies from our group. They all had a great time.

Afterwards, she took a good nap so I could get ready for our date night! Steven got 2 free tickets to "Sinatra" at the Wynn and for Christmas we got a gift card to Blondies at Planet Hollywood, so our date night was free :]

The show was absolutely amazing! I think out of all the shows we have seen in Vegas, this was my favorite one. The last song they danced to was the song played at Steven's grandpa's funeral. It tugged at our heart strings. Brought back so many memories of him.

Lions, Tigers, and ...Dolphins?

Today was a fun filled day for Butterbean and I! We spent all morning dancing to country music :] and then went to our meet-up at the Mirage with some great mommies!

We got to see a few dolphins! So cool! We were close enough to touch them, but obviously weren't allowed to. I wish!! I have always wanted to swim with dolphins! Butterbean had a great time. She kept saying "Oooh!!"

Then we went and saw the tigers! They were so beautiful! They were almost too beautiful. One of the moms and I were joking that they looked like they had face lifts and hairdressers. Too funny!

All in all we had a great day! Tonight Butterbean and I are babysitting a little boy from the group! He is such a good baby! I watched him on New Year's Eve and he didn't fuss at all! Amazing!
