Butterbean tests Daddy

So today Butterbean and I got a lot done! Now when I say we I really mean myself since she is only 15 months and only knows how to destroy a clean room.
We finished painting the toy box, just a few little touch-ups I didn't notice yesterday. We put that in her room and filled it with stuffed animals!  I'll post pics of the whole thing as soon as I finish painting the bookshelves! It will look amazing!! I can't wait!

One thing I never expected when having a child, which I should have since it's what children do, is the testing. She tests everything!! Today she decided to test her daddy's patience...

"what are you gonna do? make me get down?!"
"ok you win dad, I'll get down"
Now not too long ago, Butterbean was standing on a push car her uncle got her for her 1st birthday. She was being the little dare devil she is and wasn't holding on to anything. Well, she fell and cut her stomach open on the corner of a little cabinet. Needless to say, she has apparently not learned her lesson from that nor the other million times she has fallen, hit her head, or ran into stuff while being the little nut she is. I guess it's a good thing that she isn't scared of doing anything. Unlike myself who is scared of my own shadow. I want her to do exciting things in life, I hope she keeps this trait!

Not only did we organize her room, but we cleaned the whole apartment, did about 6 loads of laundry and 2 loads of dishes. Yeah, I let the place go for a few days. But I got it all done and am very proud of myself. Butterbean is in bed, hopefully for the next few hours [fingers crossed!] and I am off to my own as soon as I get the fresh clean sheets on!
Good night! :]
